This week Ill like to recap 2nd week of October. On the 9th I had my final shoot for the film. On this day we went to Sumoto to shoot inside Okonomiyaki store well the house behind that connected to the store. Apparently this was the first place Oji san lived when he first moved to Awajishima. I guess using this location connected to Oji san memory as the theme of the movie is memories. Not sure if he meant it or not but just my personal thought.

On this day it was our first time with every cast in the scene so we all decided to have lunch at Okonomiyaki before the shoot. Thinking back its crazy how once we started more people just randomly appeared and joined the film. Originally it started with Kai introducing me to Ojisan and him talking about wanting to film and looking for a cameraman that can shoot. Love & Peace/ hard work. We started shooting around 1pm all in the same location took couple hours and finished before 5pm. From there Oji san and I headed back to Ojisan place to continue editing the film. At this point we had all the pieces we need and connected all the scenes so the film was pre draft edit was done. Kumiko san made us dinner which was bussin like usual and the local love holy 鯛 On that night after I got back to Emo Tokyo Awaji base, all the members and I watched it on the full screen.


Next day I went back to Oji sans place from the morning to make the trailer for the film. We decided to make two trailer one original trailer for the film and comedy version. You can check it out on our instagram @emotokyorec or on @awajitantejimusho.
