Nabe season
This week, I'd like to begin with a trip to Kagawa, my first visit to Shikoku. We decided to visit our customer, who frequently comes to our cafe every few weeks. They run a vintage cafe in Kagawa called Quill, and since we now have Thursdays off to focus on the farm, it was the perfect day for the visit. Before heading there, we decided to check out a nearby farm that we might potentially use for our cafe. Not sure what will happen but will update on the blog. here are some pictures
We got there around a little past 5pm and when we went inside Quill we were welcomed with home like atmosphere with customers all talking to each other. Apparently they had a event going on that day with fortune teller and needle therapist. I got my body checked by the therapist and she said there's something wrong with my left calf so I got the treatment. Needle on my head was the first time but I felt relaxed and wanted to take a nap for a bit.... After the treatment got myself some toast and coffee ☕️ which was good enough to make me more hungry but ended up staying till 9pm talking and some decided to get there fortune told. Overall was a fun night. Hopefully will be able to get some Udon next time we visit Kagawa.
Let me end the blog with Otsukaresama Mitomo san with her amazing artwork. Its crazy how empty it becomes without an artwork in the cafe.... but we have new artwork on display so come check out!
