This week has been quite eventful! Starting on Wednesday, I had my second shoot for the film I've been working on with Oji-san from 淡路探偵事務所. Since we planned to start filming early in the morning, I decided to stay the night at 淡路探偵事務所 on Tuesday. This allowed us to plan out and visualize the scenes in advance. We had a packed schedule for the day, with four different locations lined up, so it was going to be a long one. Despite the hectic agenda, Oji-san and I ended up discussing the details well past 1 a.m. The next morning, at 9 a.m., we set off towards Sumoto to shoot in the downtown area. We filmed at two different stores that had also been featured in episode 1 of 淡路探偵事務所. It was incredible to see how people with no prior acting experience brought their characters to life so effectively. Around 2 p.m., Oji-san and I drove to Goshiki to shoot the next scene at Coyomi Coffee. We had another amazing cast that made our film more interesting and comical. After about an hour of shooting, we headed towards our final location for the day, Neki which is a cafe and frame store with a very relaxing vibe. While I charged my we all took a break and had coffee which was also one of the top 3 coffee I had in Awaji. I’d love to share lots of photos, but to avoid spoiling any scenes, I’ll share just a few off shots for now.
